The Cradle of Aviation Museum in partnership with Suffolk Community College and their local manufacturing professionals, cordially invites you and your students to participate in Long Island’s Manufacturing Month. While Manufacturing Day is celebrated on the first Friday of October, there are so many opportunities in our region; they have curated a month-long celebration to excite, engage, and inform students about innovative careers in the field.
Manufacturing is a high-wage, high-demand industry that is essential to our economy. It is also a growing industry, with millions of new jobs expected to be created in the coming years. However, there is a shortage of skilled workers in manufacturing, and we need to do more to encourage young people to consider careers in this field. Please consider joining us at one of the following FREE events this October.
